What it is and what it is for
Plywood panel made of rotary cut poplar, homogeneous structure with low formaldehyde content (class E1) melaminic gluing.
This panel is widely used in marine carpentry thanks to its lightness and excellent workability. It can be easily plated with veneers of different essences.
It is highly appreciated for furniture and non-structural parts in the boating industry.
The poplar sheets, used to make the panel, come from environmentally friendly plantations. It has therefore earned PEFC certification.
Poplar marine plywood features the following characteristics:
- easy workability, excellent for woodworking
- low weight and good mechanical properties
- dimensional stability
- good moisture resistance
The panels meets the sustainability criteria being manufactured in accordance with the PEFC standard and the European E1 regulation for low formaldehyde emission.
The panels have obtained CE mark approval for non-structural use in humid environment.
